Squash has been regarded as one of the best calorie-burning sports. Playing this game requires quick reflexes and sustained endurance. However, the game has had its share of accidents and injuries over the years and this is the reason why there are now plenty of sports shops showcasing different protective gears for this highly competitive sport. These protective gears are specifically designed to prevent or minimize the severity of injuries in a squash game. Because of the continuous advocacy for sports safety by the government, professional trainers, doctors, medical organizations, and others, many of these protective gears have become required outfits in most courts. Some of the less commonly known and used protective equipment for squash games include eyeguards and mouth pieces. Protective eyewear for squash players can be readily bought from any sports shops that specialize in squash accessories. These eyepieces have been proven effective in protecting the eyes against racquet and ball strikes. There have been several cases in both the professional and amateur level squash competitions where the players lost important games and tournaments because of eye injuries during a squash game. So buying protective eyewear is a wise decision. Mouthpieces are more popularly associated with boxing, martial arts and other full-contact sports. However, wearing a mouthpiece in your squash game is also highly recommended by sports professionals. Again, ball and racquet strikes, while not a common occurrence in this type of sport, can and will sometimes happen. And when it does, it is good to know that you have come to the game well prepared. Actually, mouthpieces should be used by all athletes whenever they engage in a contact or possible collision sport. This will ensure that tooth damages and injuries are kept to a minimum. Squash is a highly competitive sport with lots of quick movements and high speed action. Whether it’s for fun, competition or just plain exercise, it is always advisable to wear the proper protective gear.
You can post here some squash products and accessories like eye wear, mouth protection and other accessories.

This is a great post! what i like is the Dunlop Sports Squash Protective Eyewear. It is World Squash Federation approved . It has a flexible rubberized arms. My tip is always use a protective eyewear. This really helps. Also consider the quality of the product because this can shatter when a ball hits it. Choose a polycarbonate shatterproof lens.
